ABOUT THE ROLE
Founding software engineer working across the full stack in an experienced team, with end-to-end ownership. You'll work closely with end-users while contributing to internal tooling and customer-facing systems, in a tech team driven by a shared motivation to improve vet care in the UK.
DAY TO DAY
You'll work across the full stack with a backend and ops lean. You'll build and maintain the systems that run the business: client comms, internal tooling, workflow automation and the data infrastructure underneath it all.
In practice that means:
- Shipping features end to end on a Node.js and React stack running on GCP
- Building and owning the CI/CD, observability and SRE practices that keep it healthy
- Integrating third-party platforms
- Applying AI where it genuinely earns its place
- Working directly with the clinical and ops teams to understand the problems you're solving, not just the tickets you're handed
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
Full-stack experience with a backend lean. You're comfortable operating autonomously in a process-light team. You take ownership and prioritise shipping with good quality instincts.
